To design and develop Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows and identify areas of optimization
To design, build, deploy and support end to end ETL processes
Implement an Informatica based ETL solution fulfilling stringent performance requirements.
Lead and guide development of an Informatica based ETL architecture.
Design, coding, unit testing of ETL packages, triggers, and stored procedures, views, SQL transactions.
Plan, Design and develop new database systems, working closely with a team of with Teradata DBA team.
Co-ordinate with the offshore team for all ETL deliverable.
Review of all offshore deliverable and artifacts (ETL Code review, Technical Design Review, Unit Test cases and Results).
Providing post implementation support to the production support team(s).
Manage offshore resources and ensure quality code is delivered to the client on time.
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimum 8
years experience in IT and business intelligence.
Minimum 5
years overall Informatica experience
Hands on experience in developing Informatica mappings and reusable components.
Strong knowledge in data warehousing concepts.
Understand Logical and Physical data modeling best practices and techniques
Experience in developing slowly changing dimensions, error handling and performance tuning.
Strong Data Analysis skills.
Strong skills in transferring functional specifications and requirements into technical design.
Strong experience in Teradata required.
Must Have Skills:
Informatica 9.X (Power Exchange, Power Center)
Must be strong in Teradata and UNIX.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
