8K a year The HR Advisor, International HR maintains and enhances Ricoh's human resources by providing essential bilingual HR support to international assignees, especially PCP (Parent Company Personnel) population from Japan.
This position supports the administration of human resources policies and programs for PCPs in the following functional areas, employee orientation, relocation, tax and benefits and other PCP related benefits and allowances.
Act as a point of bilingual HR contact for IHR Manager and new PCPs on relevant corporate procedures by counseling HR issues and communicating policies, corporate procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
Confident and proficient with Ricoh's PCP policies and procedures.
Act as a support resource to advise PCPs with questions and support such as for relocation, tax and benefits, medical insurance program, family related issues, etc.
Ensures that essential HR forms and Federal Government Documents are completed and processed appropriately according to corporate and government guidelines.
In collaboration with the IHR Manager, conducts, organizes, and manages the New PCP Orientation programs.
Assist IHR Manager to ensure on time compliance with processing of relevant tax return filings, as well as tax equalization process for PCPs.
Assist with the provision of real time support for PCPs and their leased vehicle program.
Provides necessary advisement to IHR Manager with a knowledge of immigration rules in order to maintain immigration documents for PCPs (e.
g.
Visas).
Assists with support of relocation expenses for PCPs.
Uses judgment and decision-making skills to assist with review and approve/deny reimbursement requests from PCPs such as education and medicals stated in Global Mobility Policy.
Provide administrative supports to IHR Manager for PCP payroll processing.
Assist with cross charges among Ricoh Group.
Participate in projects assigned by the IHR Manager/HR Business Partners/RCL management.
Responsible for assisting and maintaining administration and coordination of various HR programs, especially for those run by RCL (Home leave, review assignment-related allowances, security deposit loans for housing and other benefit programs).
Assist with a variety of IHR administrative activities for PCPs from other Ricoh group companies in Japan.
Assist with reviews PCP policies or programs based on a trend and gives advice to HR Manager where necessary.
Analyzes and reports to IHR Manager for any changes required for the improvement of any IHR programs for PCPs.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
Operates under the organization's Code of Ethics.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Requires minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
Must have a proven track record of human resource experience as a generalist level.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
Must have a proven track record of relationship building with both internal and external customers.
Fluency in spoken and written Japanese and English required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
Must demonstrate excellent bilingual oral and written communication skills by clearly presenting information through the spoken and written word in positive and negative circumstances.
Must have a proven track record of relationship building with both internal and external customers.
Must be able to handle multiple priorities.
Must be able to handle information of a confidential nature.
Must be able to handle interpersonal conflict and stressful work conditions in a mature, problem solving, solution-oriented manner.
Requires strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Candidate needs to be fluent in both English and Japanese (speaking and written/reading).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
