Sr. Technical Lead with Security Clearance
Our direct client, based in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Technical Lead who has hands-on software development experience with GCP and Java technologiesThis role is a hybrid on-site position and you will be required to work on-site 2-3 days per week in the Parsippany, NJ officeThe Tech Lead is responsible for leading and managing a team of developers and engineers to develop and deliver effective web-based cloud solutions for the company's external customersThis is a greenfield effort to build an exciting and new supply chain productThis position requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in cloud services, architecture, web development and best practicesYou will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and trends to provide industry-leading solutions(stay curious) Your role:
:
o Lead and manage a team of 3-4 software engineers to develop and deliver a new customer-facing cloud solutiono You will partner with Business leadership and the Supply Chain Product Lead to establish vision, strategy and road map and then execute on the sameo Collaborate with UI/UX Designer and Product Lead to understand the business requirements and design GCP architecture to meet the needs of external clientso Provide a combination of hands-on development, technical guidance and mentorship to the team to develop their skills and expertise in GCPo In this role, you are responsible for the overall design, implementation and quality of the code the team produces across this new Product Development projecto You are accountable for daily status on tech design, development, and resource management
Qualifications:
o 8-10
years experience in Java and Javascript software development demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility o 3
years experience leading a team of 2 or more software developers o Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience o Experience producing solution designs for large-scale, highly available, external customer platforms in the cloud o Ability to communicate complex technical design concepts and translate into non-technical business solutionso Able to communicate well with all levels in the organization and must be comfortable as a primary contact to internal stakeholders and external customerso Excellent oral and written communication skills o Experience in Agile, Waterfall and other software development methodologies Preferred Qualifications :
o Experience developing within a Cloud environment with good knowledge of cloud infrastructure like GCP is a pluso Experience with ecommerce and logistics a huge plus Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Architecture Business Requirements Coaching And Mentoring Curiosity E Commerce Apply to this job.
