Project Engineer
Join a leader in Civil Infrastructure Engineering!!!!!Kane Partners is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Project Engineer for our client located in Parsippany NJ.
This role will be responsible for:
Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on moderately complex projects.
Conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development including:
o Using advanced techniques, theory precepts and practices in the civil engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.
o Serving as liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams on complex project issues.
o Making design recommendations, adaptations, and modifications.
o Planning, scheduling, conducting, and/or coordinating detailed phases of assigned project work.
o Carrying out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved civil engineering techniques or procedures to create new or refined equipment, materials, processes or methods.
o Creating own design work using computer-aided or manual drafting techniques.
o Preparing reports and correspondence concerning the direction of projects.
o Performing field investigation or inspections.
o Conducting constructability reviews or assist in the design/plan/review of other civil engineering projects.
o Reviewing plans and preparing/reviewing technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
Requirements:
o Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
o PE license strongly preferred or the ability to obtain a professional license in 6-12 months.
o Five or more (5+) years of experience in civil engineering, land development industry or related industry experience strongly preferred.
o Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications and civil engineering design software such as Civil3D.
o Familiarity with reading construction plans.
