The Lead Analyst will provide a high level of problem solving abilities to identify production problems, troubleshoot, and determine root cause analysis. This role will identify scope changes and the potential impact to other systems. The Lead Analyst will implement measures to minimize routine issues and will play a key role in the incident management process. S/He will perform trend analysis and problem review while make recommendations for improvement and/or prevention. The Lead Analyst will predict issues and challenges in functional areas. S/He will troubleshoot and validate complex maintenance issues to provide resolution.
The Lead Analyst will coordinate migration, testing, implementation and configuration of all 3rd party software, working with JDE system in multiple environments. They will analyze complex testing problems and evaluate, recommend, and modify existing technology in response to business requirements or systems configurations. The Lead Analyst plays a key role in the requirements gathering and analysis process with any JDE software and tools release upgrade and installation. S/He will be responsible for recommending alternative solutions and risk assessment of those solutions, while ensuring proper documentation is created and maintained. The Lead Analyst will provide systems administration for the JDE technical environments. S/He is responsible for tuning and monitoring of the JDE performance, applying necessary patches and upgrades (ASU, ESU and Updates) while completing routine system auditing and performance tuning task. The Lead Analyst will be responsible for the implementation of JDE changes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To be qualified for this position you must have a Bachelor's degree in
computer
Science, Information
services
or related discipline, equivalent work experience and/or technical certifications with 5
years JD Edwards CNC experience and 1
years with v9 or greater and Tools 9 or greater. Experience with JDE in an IBM & Windows infrastructure environment, iSeries administration and DB2 database administration is required. AIX and Oracle 11g administration is also required.
This position requires the ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills and excellent troubleshooting skills and methodology. Qualified candidates must have the ability to effectively organize, prioritize and execute tasks partnered with strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Good knowledge of Web technologies and experience with Oracle WebLogic, Citrix, and Transform is a plus along with the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in text or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Evening and weekend work may be required for system upgrades, package build/deployment and support of users in different time zones.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
