This is a key role with full responsibility for leading and developing the IT finance and business insights team to achieve benchmarked IT performance, in accordance with the strategic and operational needs of the business. The reporting line for the role is through the IS function to the Regional IS Director North America and there is also a dotted line to the Regional Finance Director North America. The aim of the role is to build an effective and strong partnership with Global competency centers & the local management teams, to ensure projects and procedures take into account relevant Global and local priorities.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the broader business in order to play an active role in shaping the IT strategy which meets strategic and operational objectives
Act as a technology leader to the Finance team and be proactive in identifying opportunities where IS can bring advantages to the organization.
Drive the strategic vision and direction across the IS function within the finance and commercial business.
Be a role model for the development of junior management talent across IT to support the business and provide succession for the future.
Lead the commercial negotiation and management of relationships with key suppliers.
Responsible for the on-going provision of IT applications and services that support the finance team to agreed levels.
Lead the delivery of new system innovations to support business initiatives.
Ensure that IT policies, procedures and overall governance standards are compliant with the needs of the business and external standards.
Responsible for the overall security across the IS systems supporting the finance team and the maintenance of disaster recovery procedures and plans.
Key Challenges:
Playing a leading role within the Finance team
Facilitate the transition of back office business services to a shared service function
ERP replacement program impacting the business (replacing JDE with SAP)
Various improvements to processes and supporting systems
Building the next generation of IT talent
Skills & Experience Required:
In depth IT experience preferably gained within sectors with a robust approach to process control and high quality levels
Experience of leading the formulation and application of IT strategy
Good understanding of the IT industry, emerging technologies and the implications for the wider business environment.
Understand, explain and be able to present IT material to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in a persuasive and convincing manner.
Proven success in leading and motivating IT teams and driving major change programs.
Demonstrable experience of building successful partnerships with suppliers.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to articulate a vision with energy and passion.
Commercial acumen with the ability to work with business leaders and peers to establish priorities and drive through successful execution.
Being comfortable with building bridges with useful organizations and innovative thinkers, and keeping up to date with developments in their field.
Technical Capability:
Having a strong technical foundation with the experience of the application of technology. In the course of doing so, he/she should have a refined point of view about alternative and cost effective approaches to emergent technologies, including cloud computing
He/she will be comfortable with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
He/she should have a strong awareness of relevant emerging technologies, and be comfortable with some of the supporting methodologies e.g. Agile philosophies.
Requirements:
BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5 plus years in relationship management experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
