As a member of the IT leadership team you will assist in creating an environment that is client driven where teamwork is paramount. In this position, you will function as the Sales and Business Unit client liaison to understand business strategies and objectives analyze business requirements, provide IT thought leadership and define IT solutions and strategy for sales and the business units. This position will manage a team responsible for application development and support and overall information services for all of the Sales, Marketing, Canada, Food Service and Snacks organizations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Technical Duties and Leadership
Work closely with business clients to develop a comprehensive understanding of their business, its processes & requirements, and ensuring incorporation into technical designs and IT solutions.
Work with client area to develop a comprehensive strategy, which include both business and technology focus areas.
Provide IT thought leadership to the business units and organizations supported
Foster a solid working relationship with business partners to collaborate on prioritization, business needs and established action plans for completing approved initiatives.
Research information system and business developments in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry and assist in setting future direction.
Meet with key business stakeholders regularly to review both tactical and strategic action plans
Provide overall oversight and leadership to project implementation teams, including creating/reviewing and gaining approval of project proposals. Identify project resources/staffing requirements. Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained for each project phase and that all team members have an understanding of expectations, timelines, and scope.
Providing guidance to team members, managing problem resolution for successful and timely implementation
Work with direct reports to develop performance objectives and goals.
Develop a deep understanding of our business processes and enabling solutions for the organizations supported by this role.
Ensure that any application or service issues are escalated and managed effectively
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
Manage and provide career development to team of staff and manage team of contracted resources

Qualifications:
Must be able to work closely and independently with IT teams and business clients throughout the company to ensure proper solutions are in place.
Have the ability and a track record of driving change and business value through technology
Experience leading and/or managing several IT projects through the full project life cycle
Highly effective communication skills
Strong organization and prioritization skills relating to managing multiple projects
Demonstrated collaborative, consultative, problem solving, and analytical skills
Knowledge of the Consumer Products industry, especially the Sales and Supply Chain functions are strongly desired
EDUCATION:
Bachelor?s Degree

Experience:
10
years of experience working in a project management/client relationship role within IT.

SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES:
Effective communication skills, both oral & written with both technical and non-technical clients
Ability to work independently & within a team environment
Ability to enlist and partner with resources within and outside the department to ensure successful execution of design & implementation tasks
Ability to prioritize workload based upon business requirements
Track record of driving change through the implementation of IT solutions in a CPG environment


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
