Full Charge Bookkeeper Job in Bergen County
Immediate need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Montville. The Full Charge Bookkeeper Job will report directly to the Director. The candidate will be his right hand supervising a staff of three. Our Client is in the process of automating its A/P system. The right candidate will be able to jump right in and function through the process. Heavy Collections as well as investigating account histories. Growing organization with a friendly work environment and excellent growth opportunities.
Full Charge Bookkeeper Job responsibilities include:
This Full Charge Bookkeeper would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting including AP, AR, Collections, etc. but would be directly responsible for bank reconciliations, journal entries, month and year end closings, financial statements, payroll as well as other accounting and financial duties. You will also be supervising a staff of 3(A/P, A/R and billing). Must be able to handle high volume A/R collections.
Skills/
Qualifications:
3-5 years of recent accounting experience and proficiency .We are looking for a team orientated professional; with excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have strong Excel skills. Recent Managerial experience a plus.
