Project Accounting Job for company in Morris County!
The Project Accounting Job supports our delivery organization by providing timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis and assistance to project teams.
The Project Accounting Job details are below:
o Must have recent experience working as a project accountant with a firm.
o Monthly Financial Reporting - Works with Project Teams and Finance to drive the production of timely and accurate reporting.
o Knowledge of the Work in Progress (WIP) schedule.
o Complete understanding of Job Costing.
o Monthly Projections - Based on interactions with the Project teams and knowledge of the business, projects revenue forecast for next 12/24 months.
o Prepares other financial reporting as needed on project specific level i.e. sub reports, labor studies, cash flow for project, projections or forecasting.
o Internal project budget review - Procures the budget from PM/Purchasing, ensures appropriate sign-off and processes for accuracy and reliability.
o Knowledge of Payroll processes at job and overhead levels.
Qualifications:
o Minimum 3
years commercial construction accounting experience.
o BS degree in Accounting or related field.
o Timberline experience a must
