A fantastic opportunity is available for an Senior Financial Analyst, US Household to join our Finance team.
This role is responsible in:
Manage month end reporting and analysis, investigating and articulating the key drivers of business results, both brand and customer performance;
Ownership of the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process, co-coordinating with sales, marketing and executive functions as appropriate;
Support the strategic planning process regarding investment level by operator segment and program;
Provide expert guidance and support to marketers on the building of ad-hoc P/L scenarios and ROI calculations;
Provide support to sales team members in management of the trade spend budget and margins by customer and key operator
Development of NPD financials clearly documenting assumptions and inclusion into forecasts/plans
Challenging COGS and transfer prices from the factory including working with supply teams on best possible cost structure. Generating and implementing Squeeze and X-trim projects to reduce cost.
Freight and warehousing analysis and optimization including rates and cost to serve.
Embellishment and display rates and mix optimization.
CFC can do savings generation and implementation.
Control over marketing spend including planning forecasting and latest view tracking analysis.
Monitor monthly trade spend to ensure correct accrual bookings at month end.
Tight budget control over CFC's including planning, forecasting and actuals.
Responsibility for control over R&D cost budget
Special projects or analyses as required.
Be a Business Partner: identify possible risks, suggest clear and effective recommendations, drive correct business decisions
Is this You?
BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA a plus
5 years accounting or financial analysis at a Consumer Products or Foodservice Company
Excellent window based PC skills; as well as financial system experience a plus
Excellent Analytical Skills
Excellent organization skills and ability to understand and analyze data logically
Ability to work well under pressure, and to complete multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to work with detail; Project accounting experience a plus
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Must be a self-starter and a team player
